About Us

Trillium Native Landscapes, Inc. is a design-build landscaping and natural area maintenance and restoration firm dedicated to increasing the diversity of native plants and native landscapes in our region. Trillium uses perennial flowers, grasses, trees and shrubs that are native to northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin in formal and naturalized settings. Natural materials such as native boulders and stone walks, seat walls, and other infrastructure add functionality as well as beauty to our clients’ properties. Depending on project needs, Trillium also includes traditional design elements such as brick patios and walkways, block retaining walls, lawns, decks, and popular non- invasive plants and shrubs.

Incorporated in 2005, Trillium qualifies as a small, woman-owned business and has developed an expert staff of landscape and restoration professionals with decades of project experience serving private residents, municipalities, park districts, forest preserves, corporations, developers, builders, homeowners associations, and nature conservancies.

We believe that education is the key toward the larger society understanding and embracing native landscaping as a common goal, and we strive to educate wherever possible. We work toward providing sustainable landscapes, ecologically healthy systems, and an educated public to promote cleaner water and a healthier environment.
